There are several more important considerations that you failed to add:

1. If you know your opponent is a dice manipulator or likely to be a cheater, he has his greatest advantage in a race, so drop any racing double;

2. If you are far better than your opponent, you want to avoid higher cubes in racing positions where the skill factor does not benefit you;

3. If you are playing with a fish and you are way up on the sheet, let him win a few simple races once in a while so you don't lose him;

4. If you are playing with someone who loses control when he steams, you should not just take if it's a bare take, you should beaver. If you get lucky and win, it will make you a hell of a lot more money the right of the night.

5. If you are playing with someone who is over his head relative to the stakes, you should quickly take any racing cube and than offer an unfair settlement, which he is very likely to accept.

6. You should always take if it's for the box.
