Keep in mind that if you are have been rolling poorly in recent races, you are overdue to start rolling higher numbers, so you should take racing positions that XG (not privy to this info) thinks are passes. On the other hand, if you know that you opponent has been rolling small numbers in recent races, you have to figure that he is overdue to start rolling some big sets, so you should pass positions that XG thinks are close takes.
Yes. Because everybody knows that probability works by compensation, not by swamping.
