OT posts politics vs football

The purpose of 'OT' in the subject line is clear. You are not compelled to read threads that don't interest you, especially those marked this way.

The reason football posts in this forum are OK, IMO, is that I am interested in the opinions of the BACKGAMMON players that read this forum regarding football strategy decisions, and the strategies of football often have some parallels to things we learn in backgammon. After all, if one of our members has written a program that does ROLLOUTS of football games, what better place to discuss such?

If there is some other more appropriate forum where I should be asking questions of Chuck about Zeus and football, I'll happily do so there, not here.
