I don't see the upside in hitting loose on the 2-point, because you have no checkers in direct range to cover (and are you going to give up the midpoint in an attempt to do so?).

23/18, 21/15 gives opp 16 PoH rolls and 5 more outfield hits. 23/12 gives opp 29 shots at two different blots with six of those rolls being double hits.

If things go your way you are going to want off the 21-point soon. If they go against you, you can likely survive by owning opp's barpoint.
