Hitting is the DMP play so it's worth a close look, per Stick's recent advice. We might pick up the second blot, and if we're hit we have reasonable anchoring chances. On the other hand, hitting loses more gammons. The fact that hitting strips the 5pt is unfortunate because it means fewer cover numbers if we're missed. If we don't hit, our opponent still has some cleaning up to do (if he doesn't roll a 6 to hit). What about the cube? After either play it looks like an easy take if we're doubled immediately.

Difficult choice but I'll wimp out with bar/23 6/5.
