Yes on the first question.

I'm not using our model; I was using theirs. I just ran 25 games for TCU ("favor pass") vs. OR ("favor run"). Result was OR winning 18 of the 25 games with average final score point differential of 8.5.

The results seem to triangulate pretty well. As far as matching reality, though...
