I enjoyed the article. Thanks for the link. I like the concept of eliminating negatives vs. adding positives. I noted the advice to go over (by one's self) recently played openings and learning/deciding how they should have been played. Great for backgammon.

When I was taking chess seriously, I played a little and read a little. Repeat daily. Improve daily. That worked. But a coach would have helped greatly with focus, analysis, strategy/tactics and seeing the no doubt many things I did not see myself.
