OK, I tried to ignore that thread. What the hell is 43Z??

And while we're at it, allow me to shift gears and repost something I said over 10 years ago that is still valid:

Suppose your opp knows how to play the reply to every 4-3 opening, with the exception that after the 24/20, 24/21 he misplays the 2-1 reply. Then THAT is the best opening against this opponent.

You could, of course, take any of the four ways to play this opening and find one misplay that makes it best (under the same assumptions). But it does illustrate a point -- the right opening is often a function of the two players.

What I find interesting is that BGO doesn't have a list of replies to 24/20, 24/21 (or I can't find one, which isn't as interesting :). Are we to assume that these replies are all no brainers?
