I'm assuming that the player with a single active checker has nearly trivial checker play, so that the only question is how much equity the containing side can squeeze out of the position.
It would be nice if there could be a setting in the program to reflect this, so that the easy-to-play side would not get much juice in the evaluation/rollout. Often times it's easy to play because the plays are forced or have wide equity margins, but sometimes it's just because they're pick'em plays that don't matter. There could be a modest recovery of processor time.
