Whether the cube is on 1 or 2, the gammon price is lower than at $-play (0.4 and 0.3, respectively). I don't know if that changes the $-game play or not. (Cube might have already been turned at money, I can see.)

I like going for the gusto with 13/9*, 6/5*. 15 return hits somewhere but otherwise real chances to even up the game. (Hitting on the 9-point not only brings a fresh cover checker into the mix but gives better chances of anchoring high when hit.)
