Backgammon Books - Promoting Backgammon

One thing people have told me time and time again is that there is so much information of varying levels on the net that it is sometimes hard to make sense of it all.

I think personally that professionals who truly understand the game and put their thoughts into a well written, cohesive book do a great service for Backgammon.

I should point out that I am not against people making books and profiting. I just think books though that were freely available could bring together a lot of the information that is presented in a disjoint fashion across the internet.
