Cool, thx for the responses. In the actual game i made the five pt as well. Making the two pt just seemed too weak as it would've stripped my six and I didn't like the resulting look of my home board. I made the five over hitting in the outfield for 2 reasons. A: I simply thought making the five left me with a much stronger overall position, something I always prefer, and B: If I hit in the outfield and he enters with 54 or 53, I would have been very sad and possibly tilted the match away. :(
