Does anybody else agree with me?

No. I bet you could get a lot of people to agree that it should be toggled off instead of on as a default though. Removing it as an option though, no thanks.

I absolutely hate the calculation of equity loss from resignations in this software. What is the point of it?

The point of it is I can say I once saw the 2009 World Champion of backgammon play a 43 PR. (Hi Mochy!) Aside from matches it could also be useful for money sessions where unfair settlements are made.

The other alternative is to accept the resignation and alter the match file, which I am fed up of doing.

Highlighting a play and right clicking once really getting to you that much? lol
