In Response To: Thanks for your work on GNU (Daniel Murphy)

Although I don't think GNU is particularly hard to use, there is one trap awaiting the unwary user regarding rollouts. Say I enter an isolated position manually using the GUI, and I want to roll out some candidate checker plays. One thing I might do is to click on "Hint," select the plays of interest, and click on "Rollout." This will give me a rollout but I won't be able to save the result. The "right" way to do it, as far as I can tell, is to make a checker play, press control-F to end the turn, wait for GNU to play a response, and then "Analyze session." Then you can go back and select plays in the analysis window (not the Hint window) and roll them out and save the results.
