Is it simply one of those cases where there's no immediate sequence that gives white a take on the next roll...?

Blue rolls one of {1-1,3-1,3-3}; then White rolls 3-3. Would you take as White after those sequences?

Most of the time Blue doesn't get into trouble by waiting to see if the G develops further. Personally I wouldn't beat myself up here if I got dinged 0.04 after cubing here. Some opps will pay your cautious (technically incorrect) action dividends by taking this.
