In Response To: Ten billion games of backgammon (Timothy Chow)

Version 2 retraining of the Neural Network has required the evaluation of 73 trillion positions (73*10^12). It took 4 months on 7 core i7 computers (2 of them hex-core).

To put it in perspective: on the core 2 duo I used for version 1 it would have taken 5.8 years to get that amount of work done.
