I read once about a statistics professor who would leave the room, then have his class write two sequences of 20 numbers on the blackboard. One sequence was of numbers they thought up. The other sequence was one they randomly generated electronically.

The teacher would return and invariably know which was which. The brain-generated "random" sequences never include aberrations such as 111.
