1994 R.G.B thread on Holland Rule

My personal opinion is that Holland's rule existed in the past, and was effectively dismissed by mainstream Backgammon - so unless it gives playing Backgammon some substantial value - I'd opt for not adopting it even now. I don't thing adoption of this rule would make any significant impact in promoting backgammon either.

As Kit said in his post about Holland's rule "As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. "
