In Response To: Promoting backgammon - Grass Roots (Michael Petch)

IMHO, The future growth of Backgammon doesn't lie in the creation of Federations, promoting Online or Real Life tournaments, teaching backgammon to High School students, or selling books, creating bots or using Backgammon to gamble.

You don't have to tear down the ideas/plans/actions of others to make your own idea stand out.

I think the proposal of "backgammon in the family" is a good one, and one of many positive ideas that all can be pursued in parallel.
