I have this same problem. I have an evil inner voice telling me that I can always make it up later; its a long match. I don't need to tell you how stupid this is. I sometimes can control this problem by focusing on my PR - even if the match isn't being recorded. If I can capture the mindset of looking at the position as a problem, not a part of the match, I do better. Unfortunately, this is still a major struggle for me. I've got a long way to go to fix the problem.
