OT N00b Poker Question on implied odds

Sorry. It's No-Limit Hold 'Em, and your holding is 7 6♠. (I did warn I was a n00b! )

Perhaps I can't see the implied odds because I don't know how to play the hand.

If you flop the straight, your opponent is likely to be aware of the possibility, so you might make some, but not a huge amount. How likely are they to call a raise?

If you flop a drawing hand and your opponent bets, you will have to pay to draw, so your overall investment is at lower odds. Or do you fold this?

If you flop nothing, then you can fold for no extra cost.

I just don't see where you are getting value.
