Ah, lets play devils advocate here. You may or may not be suggesting that this discussion with Phil over Backgammon and Gambling and schools is turning away players who may read here. I'm not sure of the true nature of your post, but I'm smart enough to infer there is a reasonable chance of something between the lines.

My question would be, was the whole drama with certain unnamed ex USBGF founders and some current unnamed board members good for the game? I'm glad I stayed out of it, but I did have private contact to promote my opinion of the matter.

Independent of what was suppose to be inferred I must admit, that if certain players here won't listen to others, then it may just be easier to quote them instead.
