4:35 remain in 3rd Quarter. PIT trails by 4 points and face 4th and 15 from GB's 34 yardline. 2 TO's remain for PIT and 3 for GB.

A lot depends upon Suisham's ability to make that FG. Our projection (which includes his FG success in 40-49 range of 36/46) is that he's about 37% to make a 52-yarder. His career record from 50+ is 3/9 (33% +- whopping 16% single S.D.). If our number is right they made the correct call (barely -- 0.1% GWC at > 99% conf.) but if 33.3% is representative of his ability then 0.75% GWC error out of ~30% GWC available.

Another second-guess is whether PIT should have fired Jeff Reed in mid-season, replacing him with Shaun Suisham. The two have similar statistics, but it's been my observation that NFL teams (who in general know squat about statistics) have an itchy trigger finger when it comes to firing kickers after a few misses.
