The gnubg id for the position is part of the image url. You can recover the positions from that (more easily than editing them from the image!)

By the way, Phil Simborg's site has a kind of inverse problem, with his publishing tool butchering consecutive dashes in xgids, making the latter not cut-and-pastable in bots.
