Since we're not volunteering 8 shots, 11/5 is the six.

Even though 5/4 leaves a blot if we next roll 6-6, spreading out the checkers feels right to me. It may help next turn (giving us the option of keeping the blotless 9-point position) and once we start the bearoff, a spare on the 4-point will be valuable for avoiding awkwardness (and eventually, blots).
