The discussion of digital precision cubical dice made me think:

Why not a digital dice tube?

Sort of the equivalent of the digital hourglasses available:

You turn it up side down and it display your roll ;-)

The de-luxe edition could even incorporate a clock, displaying your roll in the top-half, and your time/clocks below the waist.
