Electronic cubical dice - one advantage

Thanks for your posting, Henrik.
A well constructed baffle box should indeed gain little (or nothing) from dice shaking, and perhaps also from cups. But what should we define as well constructed? The very real possibility to manipulate dice by hand with an ill thought out box has been well documented in these forums (archives: baffle box/Bob Glass). This occurred at the Cavendish West club. A really secure box will have 'frets' that deflect the dice - but the more of these there are the more chance of the dice getting stuck. I agree with the Danish rules that require cups with a box. Besides, using cups and shaking the dice are very much a part of the feel of the game, so many players who agree to use a baffle box will probably still want cups, and may still shake. Certainly, one should have the choice - particularly if also using a clock. If a tournament player agrees to use my baffle box I don't press on cups or shaking though.
You agree that the box should be placed next to the outer tables, yet don't see that the Danish Fed rule that you authored requires the opposite. Please look again!
I may be interested in buying one of your prototype boxes. Could you send me a photo/video?
