Stay back with our last hope checker.

No checker bears in to the 6-point this turn.

20/10, 19/9 leaves our four non-holding outside checkers with crossovers of {3,4,5,6}. That looks efficient to me. Having the 9-point started gives us a good change to make that point (6-away from our remaining open homeboard point) if we get lucky enough to hit.

I can imagine someone arguing for 17/12 being part of the move, so that 6-6 will (next turn, anyway) get two checkers to the 6-point. But one to the 6-point and one to the 5-point (after 20/10, 19/9) has got to be nearly as good for that (unlikely) scenario, anyway.
