In Response To: 1st International Backgammon Championship (Bob Koca)
I believe the upcoming (June 2011) LA Open ABT event will have 9-point matches in the Open bracket. That tournament is being run in conjunction with the USBGF Championships (or vice-versa), and it would be particularly unfortunate if its winner / top finishers weren't counted in whatever qualifying/eligibility process the USBGF comes up with to decide its representatives for this international competition.
