8/3 8/2 is OK, but I think 13/2 is slightly better, in that it leaves more ways to play our next roll. Rolls with aces play quite nicely in our board (except 16 which leaves a blot on 8, but otoh, after 8/3 8/2 we are forced to run from 20), and other rolls can be played breaking the 8. XGR+ is still not forced to leave any shots next turn, so having the extra point this turn is not a key issue. Also even with 2 blots our board is strong enough that XGR+ cannot comfortably volunteer a shot.
