Wow. If you hit you're leaving a lot of blots, shots, and G-chances.

What about 18/13, 7/4? Make the homeboard point, get a spare moving, don't put any checkers in bad locations (unless you call 13 directs a "bad location"). Only 4-4 hits AND covers. The argument against this (in favor of hitting) is that at least hitting you get some immediate gain (sometimes) for the shots you offer up.

It's tough to pass up a shot this late in the game but that sure is a lot of blots and shots when you're outboarded on top of it. I'm counting on more shots to materialize.

Maybe I'm falling for an optical illusion here.
