If you look at Stick's four (really five) bullet points in his GV article, it appears that leaving the back checker where it sits (for now) makes sense.

The midpoint is heavy and White isn't going to be thrilled with giving up the anchor. Thus the blot on the 11-point is pretty safe for now, and slotting the best unmade homeboard point is called for, IMO.
