I agree with your argument. Perhaps, I should have emphasized that $10 per point chouette was beyond my comfort level. Others who have responded have also suggested that the player who dropped may have been playing for too high stakes. Since I am comfortable and experienced with online play, I would have taken this if it was $1 or $20 per point. In fact, I considered joining the chouette on the next game but wisely decided not to because the stakes were a bit more than this chouette novice desired. Too bad, because I could see how much fun chouettes were.
