Live Tournament Observations

There are times when the bot verdict is the wrong choice in a live chouette, but this doesn't look like one of those cases.
If you play the same players regularly and get to know their weaknesses, you can definitely profit by ignoring the bot verdict sometimes. For example, in certain complicated positions (prime vs. prime comes to mind), your double from the box may elicit drops from some, takes from others, and beavers from still others! In that case it's almost certainly correct to double even if the bot says it's ND by 0.100.
Another example: If you're on the team then a borderline take may turn into a clear drop if the box is clearly stronger than the captain, or if it's a position that you know the captain doesn't know how to play (this assumes a non-consulting chouette, but even in a consulting chouette the captain may ignore your advice).
