throwback phrase (OT)

In the early 90's, Dan Goldin, the head of NASA, claimed the new motto for spaceflight was "faster, better, cheaper". I doubt he coined this phrase but I'm sure he took credit for it. The guy was a classic arrogant (or is the word 'pompous' -- I can never figure out which to use) d___head. After the typical number of mission failures, the popular retort was "faster, better, cheaper -- pick two".
But the two currently most respected bots are, in fact, all three, compared to their predecessors.
