Points understood.

We don't bet, so that simplifies the approach. Thanks, for the cite to the Wikipedia page. I can use the probabilities table there as a rule of thumb, without having to figure out an optimal strategy: The straight beats the full house.

While we are at it, how do I calculate the probability for another of the combinations we use in the game, the "Small Straight", consisting of a run of 4 (instead of 5 as in the traditional Poker Straight)?
