A little rules question...and socialiability in a local BG club

It sounds like, as others have mentioned, that the dispute isn't in the rules but the ways the rules were presented. I personally prefer that nobody ever rolls on my side of the board or the left hand side. This isn't because I'm worried about some rules dispute but I just want people to keep the hell out of what I consider 'my space' when playing the game. For me it's along the same lines of not shaking your dice when it's my turn/I'm thinking, not picking up the dice quickly, etc... it's something I expect to be able to think clearly and not have to worry about you interrupting my flow in the match. There's no reason you need to roll on my side, roll on your own side and get over it.
