It depends on how the game develops. Even after B (20/10(2)), I'm not prepared to call it a "race." Gammons can still be won (or lost). After Blue plays B, if White gets her worst roll I don't think Blue is close to a double.
I believe the main point, though, is the gigantic gammon-win percentage that makes A (Attack) so clear in the original position and likely the right play even in the (+5 pip) variant.
