I think I said once that TMP is a myth. Not sure if it was on this site or not.

Only once?

BTW, Stick, I first saw the initialism in an issue of Inside Backgammon in an article by co-editor Kent Goulding. If you want me to dig that up (so you can be 'informed' of the history) before writing a fresh article, I'd be glad to do that.
