Number 1. Something close to this is likely in Woolsey's Cube Reference Positions. Wish I had a better memory. Seems like a minimum requirement for Brown is failure to close (29/36 ~ 80%) followed by entry (11/36 ~ 30%). The product is 24%. Brown would need to win most of those games to have a take. Pass.
Number 2. Doesn't Brown have a take under the scenario -- checker gets hit, Beige brings all outside checkers home, Brown enters? Does Brown even need to enter? N+T.
Number 3. I'm going to have to come up with a (non-insulting, to me at least) name for this type of quiz problem where I can't find the issue. 25/18.
Number 4. I think I can win this going forward, and for sure I don't want opp to make a 5-prime. 23/17*, 9/8*.
Number 5. I can't pull the trigger on abandoning the anchor when (still) behind in the race, and having an acceptable alternative. Oh, but I can easily give up the midpoint in such a situation. :) I see a green light in Brown's board. Builders for a better prime: 13/7, 13/9.
