Problem 1. I don't like leaving a blot here. That narrows down the choices considerably. Don't want five checkers in opp's outfield, either. Might have a cube soon. 20/8(2).
Problem 2. I guess I called this one. About 25% of the time Blondie leaves a direct shot this turn. All doubles and PoH's (12 rolls) look pretty good. But are the sequences involving those big enough market losers (if/when market losers at all)? I'll wait for one more improvement. N+T.
Problem 3. Magriel's Safe-vs-Bold Criteria argue against hitting loose. If that's wrong, maybe you have a new mythbuster topic (or maybe I'm just mis-applying the rule). 22,9.
Problem 4. Unlike #1 above, now there is a real plus to leaving a blot -- the simultaneous hit and making the best non-natal homeboard point. I guess the real question after committing three of the 5's, is whether or not to jump into the outfield, closer to safety, or hit a second checker. Again, the cube is within reach and I think advancing to the 15-point allows me to use it more often and with better efficiency. 25/20, 10/5*(2), 20/15.
Problem 5. I can pick up ~60 pips here and still have a strong defense. Besides, what kind of game is holding three high anchors? Slotting with the last ace looks like a waste. 24/23*, 18/17*/16*, 18/17.
