So will you announce to all the other potential players that this last minute change to the rules is being made? Do you think that in itself may cause you to lose a player?

You are suggesting that his clock is hit, I roll, and then his hand is picking up dice on my turn and time when I am wanting to look at the board? Don't like it.

Don't set a precedent that you will bend rules to accomodate people that you may come to regret.
