In Response To: "Erik Seidel Answers Your Poker Questions" - and two questions related to backgammon (Daniel Murphy)

Very little coverage of poker is surprising in light of past history at SI. Apparently articles on mind-sports don't sell. I find that disheartening, not just for mind-sports enthusiasts, but worse, it likely relates to the dumbing down of society, or maybe we can call it the "brain gap". (I guess the flipside is that the internet content fulfills intellectual needs, whereas more conventional SI readers don't take advantage of that resource. Still seems sad in more ways than one.)
