XG annoyance

When I play from position sometime i want to play both side, sometimes i want the bot to handle one side or both.

So the dialog to prompt for players cannot go.

The fast way to use the same default is keyboard shortcut:

  • CTRL+P to play from pos.
  • Enter to validate the dialog

    That takes less than one second!

    Shortcuts are often a very efficient way to use a program. When you go to a menu often, check if it show any shortcut.

    A few tip for XG shortcut:

  • CTRL+ALT+"letter" is used to open dialog box (M=match summary, O=option, P=profile etc..)
  • CTRL+"letter" is for action (P=play from pos, O=open, H=Hint, D=Double)
  • CTRL+Shift+"letter" is for alternate action (CTRL+S=Save, CTRL+Shift+S=Save position... CTRL+A=Analyze session, CTRL+Shift+A=Analyze Game)
  • CTRL+"number" analyze at a specific ply (1=1-ply... 7=7-ply, 8=XGR, 9=XGR+ 0=RO)
  • for dialogs "ENTER" validate the entry, "ESC" cancel the dialog
  • function key are for mode F2=Free mode, F3=tutor etc..
  • The home/end/pg down and up are for naviation: Pgup=previous move, CTRL+Pgup=Previous error.
