these are events/images which have stuck with me for all my life. in no particular order:

secretariat at the belmont, notre dame stopping ucla's 88 game win streak, the miracle mets winning the world series, the jets upsetting the colts (1969 was NOT a good year for baltimore sports teams), dwight clark "the catch" sf vs dallas, mark spitz's 7 gold medals, kirk gibson's walkoff homer in the world series,but for me the greatest sports moment is the miracle on ice.
