Bot vs human opponent - why do I suck?

I want to narrow the gap in PR between playing vs GnuBG and human opponents - but I would much rather lower my PR against humans, than play with higher PR against GnuBG ;)

I think this was only meant as a test to check whether the speed is a major factor ;-) (which I think it is, by the way)
