Sequels are rarely as good as the original and this is no exception. But I never fail to get chills watching Secretariat's son, Risen Star, win the 1988 Belmont. There is something eerie and otherworldly about watching him pull away down the stretch just like his father did, as if he somehow knows. At the time it was the 2nd fastest Belmont in history (still #3, I believe).
