Problem 1. Oops. This looks enough similar to one you posted a couple weeks ago and I don't remember its resolution (but recall you didn't like my algorithm for tying it to one of Woolsey's CRP positions). Anyway, I'm going to try that again, and use the same CRP. Blue has moved two checkers from the midpoint to the 8-point, but that is probably a minor effect (small minus for White). White has a checker sent back (minus for White) and a blot in his board with no direct cover (small minus). White has one direct and one indirect builder in the outfield (small plus). Most importantly, White has the platinum point instead of the laimo acepoint (big plus). Does score matter? Don't think so. Could it be too good? Don't think so. Could it be a take? Don't think so. D+P.
Problem 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZAsTHufxgw&NR=1 Looks to me like the minimal damage move is 3/1, 2/1, 6/5, hoping to be able to remake the 3-point.
Problem 3. Takepoint ~28% cGWC? Doubling risks 9% MWC to gain 7%. Window opens at 56% cGWC (Blue's PoV). I'm guessing (and pretty well describes my cube game) that this is in the slot (and far enough into it). WAG: 65% cGWC? D+T
Problem 4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dndAXxqJbc0&feature=fvwrel argues for 13/8. But maybe 13/9, 23/22 (my vote) just meets the criteria.
Problem 5. Now the audio intro to problem 4 seems to apply even more. You can win this game without the 5-point, and not making it now doesn't mean never making it. White could be getting desperate, which argues for letting him take the first risk. 13/8.
