In Response To: The case for minimizing (initial) information (LONG) (Chuck Bower)

In the initial post, just show the position.

In a followup post (with Subject "OtB thoughts" or something else pertinent) a person can hone in on what s/he was thinking and ask for specific ideas (if so desired).

In any case, I don't think it's necessary to explicitly give bot results. Of course they are likely implied in the followup (usually that's how someone gets an indication that an error was made).
