I agree that cheating is a potential issue, though instead of your examples, I would simply suggest that a confederate could be sending you the bot's recommended play for the decision you're currently facing.

Whether this possibility means that new regulations should be introduced is a matter for the BG community to decide, but note that there was a recent high-profile cheating scandal in chess in which SMS text messaging played a role.
